Yahoo News- The Obama administration’s financial fraud task force is meeting in Detroit to discuss mortgage fraud.
The task force is made up of people from the Justice Department, the Department of Housing and Urban Development and other government agencies.
The group is meeting today at the federal courthouse in Detroit. There will be panel discussions about the impact of mortgage fraud and the trends in Michigan. Participants will include bankers, appraisers and community activists.
U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade and others plan to talk to reporters.
