If you’re struggling to feed your school aged child in the midst of this COVID-19 outbreak, The Detroit Public Schools Community District has plans to provide some assistance.
They’ve restructured their plans to limit food pick up to Monday and Thursday ONLY in efforts to comply with Governor Whitmer’s “Shelter-In-Place” order issued on March 23rd. Below is a list of schools that will be offering a grab-and-go bundle of 4 Pre-Cooked Breakfasts and 4 Pre-Cooked Lunches between the hours of 8 am and 1 pm on Mondays and Thursdays.
