Well, would you?
Walmart is gearing up to deliver your groceries directly to your refrigerator. Some one else will literally purchase your groceries and put them away– talk about service! Some are skeptical about the idea of having a complete stranger entering their home but the store chain has a plan.
Customers who want to participate in the service would be required to get a smart lock installed outside of their home or garage by Walmart. Once they place an order, the Walmart associate assigned to the order will wear a camera and use a one-time code to open the lot. The customer would be able to watch the delivery remotely.
The first tests of this home delivery service will be this fall in Kansas City, Missouri, Pittsburgh and Vero Beach, Florida.
