The Heartbeat bill is gaining major momentum. Now Georgia’s governor has signed the bill in addition to several other states like Ohio, Kentucky, Kansas, Alabama and more. The heartbeat bill essentially bans abortion after a newborn’s heartbeat is detected (abortion will be illegal after 6 weeks). But like Georgia, all the other states where “heartbeat” bans have been approved are currently facing legal battles, meaning no state actually has a six-week ban currently enacted. ___________ Georgia Governor #BrianKemp acknowledged the possible legal trouble ahead shortly before signing the bill into law today.
