Did University of Michigan makes history? It’s being reported that coach Jim Harbaugh has offered 13 year Isaiah Marshall a scholarship to attend Michigan! Wow!! Isaiah is a student at Southfield’s MacArthur Academy. According to Espn, Jim discovered the teen after watching his tapes while visiting looking for high school prospects. Wow!! Talk about a blessing. According to Fox 2 Detroit, this isn’t Harbaugh’s first time offering a 7th grader a scholarship. They go on to report that “Harbaugh has offered a scholarship to a 7th grader before, back in June it was Dante Moore. Also receiving an offer today – Southfield A&T quarterback Anthony Romphf.” According to Freep.com:
“[Isaiah] was the youngest (to ever receive and offer). He liked what he saw with the film. He liked his anticipation, as far as him throwing kids open and reading coverages. Ball placement. Touch. Things you’re looking for in a quarterback. Can they read progressions, can they throw guys open, can they be poised. All those different things.”
Go Isaiah!! He’s the youngest player to receive a scholarship from Michigan!!
