Rapper Juelz Santana made headlines in March after having a loaded handgun in his bag at Newark International Airport. After the gun was found in his luggage, Santana fled the scene then later turned himself in.
On Wednesday, a judge sentenced the rapper to 27 months behind bars. Juelz will also have to be under a supervised release for 12 months after he has completed his sentence.
There is no information on when he will have to surrender at this time.
