Veteran recording artist Ashanti seems to have been struggling with ticket sells for a now cancelled show at stony brook university.
Ashanti was expected to perform at Stony Brook University’s “Back To Brook” event later this month. But according to sources, that show was cancelled after only selling just 24 tickets to the scheduled concert.
the university released a statement that stated, “As an organization, we do our best to host programs for students while providing diversity and inclusion. However, we have struggled to execute certain aspects. With a week before the concert, only 24 tickets are sold to students.
The university also went on to state that they had originally booked G.O.O.D Music recording artist Teyana Taylor for the show but she ended up pulling out the performance last minute, leaving the organizers to hurry and find a new act asap which led to the poorly promoted show that Ashanti was suppose to headline at the university.
