Hip-hop fans are rejoicing because Kanye West seems to be putting his touch on everything coming out of the culture recently. Last night Ye’ and Chance The Rapper announced that they will be releasing a joint album called “Good Ass Day” later this year. Chance The Rapper posted a video of the two discussing the upcoming album on his Twitter page.

Speculation of a Ye’ and Chano’s album has been buzzing for a while now, and this confirms the rumors that the two have been working on an official album after several snippets were dropped of the two working in the studio.

Kanye is keeping himself extremely busy this year, after producing albums for Teyana Taylor, and NAS, he released his eighth studio album “Ye” in June to overwhelming critical praise. Following that release, he cultivated another hit project with the legendary Kid Cudi with the release of “Kids See Ghosts” just a few days later. In addition to the upcoming joint project with Chance The Rapper, Kanye is also planning on releasing another solo album titled “Yandhi”.

Fans are speculating this could be a sequel to 2013’s “Yeezus”, mainly because the image Kanye shared on Instagram looks almost identical to the album cover of “Yeezus” which has aged very well but is still considered one of Kanye’s most polarizing pieces of work to date. In the meantime, fans are excited to hear how both projects end up sounding.

Ye dropped a snippet of one of the songs in an Instagram post last week, and if you asked us, it sounds more 808s and Heartbreak than Yeezus, but either way we are always excited to hear new Kanye.
