Detroit is definitely a city that has produced a lot of great talent from veteran artist such as Eminem to the new guys taking over the streets such as tee grizzley.  Hot 107.5’s Vintage Twon is someone who has a very deep connection to the Music/ Entertainment scene here in Detroit, Vintage Twon is live each and every friday and saturday nights for his New Wave Mix Show W/ Dj Gifted and Dj Twist.  Twon created this segment for the new wave mix show called “Hot Or Not” this segment was created to give 2 local artist in the city of Detroit a platform in which they can submit their hottest record to be played On the radio air waves for listeners to not only listen but to also chime in and let the world know if the record is “Hot Or Not” and this weeks contest was between New Up-incoming artist “Idolize” and “Whats Up AZ” but the winner between the two came out to be Idolize.  Idolized is a new and upcoming artist from Detroit, Michigan. His rap career began after he graduated from high school, starting as just a hobby but turned into something he grew to love. His main influences are Lil Wayne, ‪Big Sean‬, and ‪Gucci mane‬. His Sound was always different and people knew what he was capable of, he just had to find his own way and grow. Idolized has been rapping since 2010, now at 25 years old, his hard work is finally paying off. After going on a 7 month tier of videos and dropping his unreleased single (at the time), Get Nasty hit the airways on 107.5 and is becoming a new favorite in the city. With producer Chris P, they have built a new fresh way of Detroit music. He is the known leader of Visionary Family, which holds their own league of producers (ChrisP, trap guru, Carmine Davinci) and other artists (Deuce Boogie and Xpect). Since the Debut Of Get Nasty things have been moving fast and is currently blowing up the phone lines. The future is looking promising for this new artist.
