Dej Loaf was first introduced to the music scene during Eminem’s hometown anthem which featured Royce 5’9, Big Sean, and Danny Brown. Even though Dej did not have a verse on the record itself, her inclusion and co-sign solidified her importance as a Detroit rapper. This Detroit Native really took over the music scene with her breakout hit “Try Me” back in 2014. Since then Dej Loaf has been working; collaborating with artists such as Young Money’s Jacquees and releasing her album All Jokes Aside in 2016; she is ready to give the world more music. With her feel good catchy, eighties-inspired video and single No Fear Dej has reinvented herself.

Last night, Dej Loaf sat down with The Therapist a Noisey Viceland series with Dr. Siri Sat Sam Singh. Dej finally opens up about her love-hate relationship with fame, her childhood, love, and finally living her life without fear. Dej also sits down with HotNewHipHop.com to discuss her evolving style from clothing to her unique hair choices during New York Fashion Week. It looks like Dej Loaf is finally taking life by the horns and finally carefree and without fear.
