Lakewood Church pastor Joel Osteen held several interviews over the past 24 hours in an attempt to dispel notions that his megachurch kept their doors closed when they could’ve been opened to house Hurricane Harvey victims. The 16,000-seat Lakewood Church is the former Compaq Center, which played host to the NBA’s Houston Rockets for 28 years.
