“Again, this is my real life, you know? I just ran into this place and we built this big beautiful mansion of a relationship, that wasn’t totally built on 100% truth. Things started cracking, we had to be like ‘tear this down’ and start from the beginning. Nothing is harder than this, I’m telling you, by far it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done,”- Jay-Z

JAY-Z SZN is definitely upon us. The internet, music fans, social media lovers cannot stop talking, dissecting, assuming, and loving Jay-Z’s thirteenth album 4:44 that addresses an array of topics such as legacy, black excellence, wealth, family, relationship, infidelity, you think it, Jay-Z definitely addresses it. With his 31 North American city stop tour 4:44, scheduled to start October 22nd in California, along with his summer music festival Budweiser Made In America, HOV is ensuring that he cementing his footprints in music this year.

On the album 4:44 Jay talks about the single “4:44” and said that it had to be one of the most honest and well-written songs he has curated in all his career (that is pretty huge!) Of course the track is an apology to his wife, his family, and his marriage; acknowledging how he has failed, the hurt he has inflicted and how it will affect his family in the future. Nevertheless, for Jay to be completely open and honest he sits down and speaks to other men about relationships, life, family, and marriage. According to Hotnewhiphop.com Jay-Z has released a footnote video via TIDAL featuring Chris Paul, Kendrick Lamar, Will Smith, Mahershala Ali, Chris Rock, and much more.
