Metro Boomin’ has been having a booming year thus far! With mega hits such as the Migos’s Bad and Boujee featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Post Malone’s Congratulations, Future’s Mask Off, Kodak Black’s Tunnel Vision and Big Sean’s Bounce Back under his belt. Metro has been plaguing the Billboard Charts, and just attained a very prestigious award.

According to Metro Boomin has been named the biggest songwriter of the year so far in the US. The Royalty Exchange compiled a quarterly chart which placed Metro Boomin in the top spot. The Royalty Exchange uses a point system that earns songwriters different amounts for their hits on the Billboard Chart 100. Songs can earn up to 1000 points; and they are then split amongst songwriters that are included on the single.

Metro so far has produced five top ten records on the Hot 100. Coming in second place for songwriters is Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran in third.
