Charles Oakley’s incident at Madison Square Garden hasn’t died down!
The Knicks had a story about Oakley’s behavior that caused him to get put out and arrested but, Oakley has maintained his innocence. Now, it appears that he may have been telling the truth. Since the incident the Chief of Security at Madison Square Gardens was fired. According to DNA Info:
Frank Benedetto, the senior vice president for security at the Madison Square Garden Company, was fired Friday morning, a source said.
The move comes two days after Oakley became embroiled in a pushing and shoving match with security personnel just a few rows behind Dolan’s courtside seats and was hauled off and arrested by the NYPD in front of TV cameras.
