Detroit PAL is looking for our 2017 Youth of the Year
November 15, 2016
As a way to celebrate and congratulate our deserving youth, we choose one of our participants to serve as the Youth Ambassador for the year. This chosen individual will have the honor of being the face of Detroit PAL youth by presenting and being presented at various Detroit PAL events throughout the year. We will showcase this outstanding student athlete, and provide them with the experience, exposure and training to enhance their character and reinforce our core values.
With more detroit kids in need of a caring adult in their lives, the Detroit Police Athletic League is asking its alum to come back home to help us serve 20,000 kids each year. This is Mason and I am a PAL alum. In partnership with the Detroit Mcdonald’s Restaurant Owners, PAL is inviting alumni to come home and join the One PAL Alumni Team.
Stay connected, get updates on events and help ensure each child has a caring coach in their life. Join Detroit Tiger legend Willie Horton, former NBA star Willie Burton and NFL running back Joique Bell and help keep detroit PAL strong.
If you are one of the more than three hundred thousand PAL alumni – please log onto DetroitPAL.org and register today. Whether you played, coached or cheered from the sidelines, we want you to come home and rejoin the team.
