Apparently two more people are claiming to be heir of Prince’s fortune.
Convict Norman Yates Carthens filed court documents in Carver County Monday claiming to be Prince’s adopted son. Cartoons, a current prison inmate, said that Prince did leave a will, which he was left $7 million, according to paperwork. The court filing left no details to support his claims and Prince’s sister Tyka, and his estate have already said there is no will.
On the other hand, an alleged half-sibling named Regina Sorenson has also filed documents saying she and Prince had the same father. The woman claims there is a ‘trust’ and that she should be included in any DNA testing of potential heirs.
Prince died on April 21 and his estate may be worth hundreds of millions of and includes vast vaults of unreleased recordings. He did not have any recognized children or even a will at the time of his death.
