It looks like Tamar Braxton will not be returning to The Real for the hour-long talk show’s third season because she and the show have “mutually decided” to part ways.
“The Real and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season.”
“She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career,” the statement continued. “Everyone associated with The Real appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.”
Now, as you can see above, The Real is saying it was mutual decision.
However, a statement released by Tamar on her Instagram page and the fact that she un-followed all of her former co-hosts expect Tamera Mowry-Housely, have some thinking it wasn’t as mutual as the show is claiming.
So far, none of the hosts have spoken out about the Tamar moving on from the show, we will see, if they address it though.
There is no word yet on whether or not Braxton will be replaced.
