Over the years, Ellen DeGeneres has made a point to donate plenty of money to schools in Detroit. Just last month, she donated $500,000 to Spain Elementary-Middle School in Detroit and now it seems Ellen has another big surprise for a Detroit charter school.

According to Local 4, on Wednesday’s episode of the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, Detroit Achievement Academy (DAA) founder Kyle Smitley will provide Ellen with an update on how the 2-year-old school is progressing.

Smitley, opened the academy with the hopes of improving the quality of education in the city of Detroit and Ellen noticed causing her to donate $75,000 to the academy between the years of 2013 and 2014. The donations helped the charter school finance the rest of their school year and allowed them to build a new library, which they named after Ellen.

Well On Wednesday, Ellen will present the school with a $20,000 check brining her total amount of donations to $95,000.
