Back in July, 50 Cent filed for bankruptcy in July, citing multiple lawsuits as reasons for the filing. Then just last month, his bankruptcy documents show he spends $135,000 per month on bills, according to Bossip.
In fact, according to Bossip, 50 Cent’s spending in the month of December was greater than his income by $77,000.
Now, a bankruptcy judge has ordered 50 Cent to come to court to explain recent photos of him flashing stacks of cash online. Judge Ann Nevins explained during a hearing on Thursday (Feb. 18),
“I’m concerned about allegations of nondisclosure and a lack of transparency in the case. There’s a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent, and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process.”
Court papers focused specifically on three photos from the rapper’s page, including one of Fif sitting on the floor amid a pile of cash that spelled out “BROKE.”
