Taylor Swift was also a big winner last night as she won a Grammy for Best Album for 1989 and she seemed to used her acceptance speech to hurl shots at Kanye West.
Now if you don’t know, one of Kanye songs called Famous off his The Life of Pablo album, he raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that b*tch famous.”
Since the song release, West said it wasn’t a diss and reports even surfaced that he told Swift of his lyrics about her ahead of time and she was fine with it.
However, based on her speech, Swift felt differently, as she said..
“I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success. Or try to take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going you’ll look around and you will know it was you, and the people who love you, who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you, for this moment.”
