Floyd Mayweather made an appearance on the TMZ Sports TV show Thursday night for an interview and while speaking he touched on the Bill Cosby scandal and suggested that people should be worried about “more important things” right now as opposed to the “stuff with Bill Cosby that happened 30 or 40 years ago.”
Mayweather was then asked if he thinks racism has played a role in the way the Cosby story has been covered. While he didn’t bluntly come out and say there is racism involved he did bring up that scandals involving former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle and Woody Allen were covered differently by the media than Cosby’s scandal.
However, Maywheather’s final point was that people should worried about things like police brutality than Bill Cosby.
“I think there’s more important things in the world that we need to worry about than something that happened over 30 or 40 years ago,” he said.
