Recently, Chris Brown’s new song “KAE” was leaked off his new album Royalty which will be released tomorrow. The lyrics of the song talked about a woman lying and not being there for him like she said she would. Many figured that Brown was speaking on his ex-girlfriend Karrueche.

However, Brown commented on TheShadeRoom to clear up the rumors that he was dissing the model.

He states, “People will make and use their own opinion. The song is saying that the relationship is no more. I’m expressing the time apart and the space that’s between two people who loved each other. The list of my mistakes are a mile long on my end. I’m expressing that I’m not familiar with who the other person is anymore at this point in my life. No bashing and definitely not hate.”

Brown also states, “That would be the pot calling the kettle black! My love in general is eternal and unconditional. I’m expressing the man I am today the best way I know how, through art and music.”

Do you think that Chris Brown was trying to throw shade at Karrueche? Let us know in the comments below.
