The Meijer at Metro Parkway and Van Dyke was evacuated after an employee heard what was thought to be an ISIS threat.

According to police a man was talking to a clerk when he made a comment about ISIS. He later left a backpack in a shopping cart of the Meijer parking lot. Authorities were called and the entire store was evacuated while the Michigan State police investigated. No threats were found, no arrests made, Meijer on 16 and Van Dyke is back open for business.
