The model, Shanise Taylor, alleges in court documents that she posed for a photo shoot in 2011, and she later saw a photo from the session appear on a t-shirt for the Trukfit line. But she never signed off on letting the photo be used or even knew the photo was being used. She also alleges the Trukfit designers Photoshopped the original image to make it look like she wasn’t wearing any underwear. She notes in the suit, she would never want her likeness “on apparel associated with misogyny and violence.” Taylor has lawyer’d up and is seeking unspecified damages and wants the shirt to be removed from circulation.
