Jay Wayne Jenkins better known by his stage name Young Jeezy or simply Jeezy has had plenty of success since stepping on hip hop scene in 1999. Even at nearly 40, Jeezy has no intention of removing himself from the city that shaped both his sound and character.
Now, over the last couple of weeks, Jeezy has been dropping new content off of his eighth studio album “Church In The Streets,” leaving fans eagerly anticipating the full album release. Well Jeezy fans, I’m happy to say the wait for “Church In The Streets,” has come to an end today as the album was just made available for purchase on iTunes and in stores near you.
Containing 19 records in total, the follow up to “Seen It All: The Autobiography” comes with only two guest features on it, those two features being Monica & Janelle Monae. However, with Jeezy steering away from the rappers and a ton of features, he is truly giving fans what they want, which is a ton of new solo music for the streets.
However, always a friend to Detroit and to the people of city, Jeezy couldn’t wait to hop on the phone and chop it up with Detroit’s number one morning show, The Morning Heat about his new album, his journey over the years and much more!
