If you’ve been wondering how the Creed movie came about, this new featurette explains it all. “Generations” shows the evolution of Rocky and his battles with Apollo Creed and how his son Adonis – played by Michael B. Jordan – comes into the picture. Watch the clip above and be sure to go see Creed in theaters everywhere on Thanksgiving.

We finally got a glimpse at the first trailer from Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell‘s new movie, Daddy’s Home. Ellen premiered the trailer on her show, and we think the movie looks hilarious. The trailer is laugh-out-loud funny and even features a small appearance by Hannibal Buress. It follows a mild-mannered radio executive (Ferrell) who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids. Check it out above and be on the lookout for the movie this December.

You may remember internet sensation Jade Novah from her popular “if Beyoncé did commercials” skit that had the media going crazy this summer, but did you know Jade can sing too? Long before Beyonce let us know that girls ran the world (duh), Jem and the Holograms were the original girl power movement. Now “Jade and the Holograms” have channeled their inner rock stars to empower young women to be creative and go for it! Jem and the Holograms hits theaters this Friday.

David O’Russell is back with Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence one more time for the film Joy. The movie hits theaters on Christmas, and tells the story of a family across four generations centered on a girl named Joy, who founds a business dynasty and becomes a matriarch in her own right. Money, power, and respect.
