Most rap fans have heard, at least in passing, about Snoop Dogg’s enthusiasm for youth football. (Some might be aware that his son, Cordell Broadus, was one of the most heavily recruited wide receivers in the high school class of 2015; he committed to Jim Mora’s team at UCLA before electing to hang up his cleats before the season started.) Those in Los Angeles know that Snoop’s passion runs so deep that he schedules the rest of his very busy life around the team of young men he coaches. Now, there will be video evidence of just how much football rules the Long Beach legend’s psyche. According to Billboard, the Doggfather is teaming up with AOL for an eight-part video series that will show just that.

The episodes will chronicle players and coaches who are participants in the Snoop Youth Football League, which is entering its 11th year of play this fall and provides a safe place for kids from low income families, ages 5-13.
