About 42,000 DTE Energy customers are without power in metro Detroit after Sunday night’s storms rolled through the area.

The outages are scattered across Wayne, Oakland, LIvingston, Macomb and Washtenaw counties.

Communities further to our north, in the Thumb-area, suffered from the storms, too. Sanilac, Tuscola, and Huron counties were also hit hard. The total amount of customers without power in southeastern Michigan is 63,000, according to DTE.
