Chris Brown has amped up the security at his Los Angeles, California home, according to TMZ.
The website reports that Brown will have 24-hour security at his home, with guards both inside and outside of the house. Additionally, guards are said to have orders to “open fire if necessary.”
“Sources close to Chris tell TMZ … he will soon have 24 hour security at his home … with one guard inside and another in a vehicle outside. We’re told the guards have their marching orders … open fire if necessary,” TMZ reports.
Brown also plans to limit the number of people he invites to his home.
It was previously reported that four of Brown’s close friends may have been involved in the home invasion.
Following a home invasion that took place on July 16, the singer was robbed of personal items, electronics, and an unknown amount of cash.
According to reports, those responsible for the home invasion knew about the $50,000 Brown received for a recent club appearance, and later placed in a safe at his home.
Additionally, it was also suspected that promoters at the club Brown appeared at at the time of the robbery, and members of the Bloods may have helped in orchestrating the home invasion.
