The body of Omarion Humphrey, a 9-year-old boy with severe autism who went missing in Davison Township on Saturday, has been found, his parents have told local television stations.
Khisha Humphrey and Jamall Humphrey confirmed that a body found in Lake Callis is that of their son. The Lake Callis Recreation Area is where Omarion went missing on the Fourth of July following a gathering at the park with his foster family. An Amber Alert was issued on Sunday.
The recreation area had been closed since Omarion went missing, but re-opened this morning. Hours later, Davison Township police confirmed that a body had been found, and the lake was closed and the recreation area evacuated.
