MAYOR DUGGAN TO ANNOUNCE RESULTS OF SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM

Mayor pledged to work with local businesses and foundations to hire 5,000 Detroit youth this summer.

WHAT: Press Conference to announce the results of the Grow Detroit’s Young Talent (GDYT) program. Mayor Duggan announced the initiative last year at the 2014 Detroit Regional Chamber’s Policy Conference on Mackinac Island with a stated goal of finding 5,000 jobs for Detroit youths ages 14-24
