In fact, studies show that people who depend on and encourage others in their workouts are often times more likely to reciprocate these same benefits and pleasures in other areas of their life too. So, training for and completing a mud race with your crew can do both your body and your mind good. Mudderella races aren’t timed, so you can enjoy this dirty sweaty time without worying over competing to making a specific time.
Now that you’re ready to play in the mud with your favorite girlfriends, the first step is to train. Obstacle races require both general and dynamic strength, so test your balance, strength, agility, endurance, willpower and overall fitness with the Mudderella Training Program. They joined forces with Uplift Studios, and for six weeks they will bring you daily workouts to help you get ready for the course. This is a chance to push yourself outside your boundaries, overcome your fears and most importantly, believe in yourself – so let’s get this training party started!
Nothing beats sweating for a good cause. After raising over $200,000 to promote healthy relationships in 2014, Mudderella is honored to partner again with Futures Without Violence. All fundraising proceeds generated by Mudderella’s participants will help support Futures Without Violence’s innovative programs to end the abuse of women and children throughout the world. Sweating and domestic violence awareness – two passions of mine. I honestly can’t think of a better way to experience a great event and support a great cause.
A family that sweats together stays together, so here is some exciting news: this year, each Mudderella event in the United States will also play host to Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder, a custom obstacle course challenge aimed at children aged 7-12. So grab the little ones and let’s inspire the next generation to explore their adventurous sides, have fun together and experience the power of teamwork!
