(DETROIT)–On Wednesday, April 13, 2015 almost 300 people gathered to remember the life of Derick R. Nelson. Derick’s parents, aunt, Crime Stoppers and Pastor Moe of L.I.P. (Live in Peace) spoke words of encouragement, peace, and justice. Supporters of #JusticeForDNelson #JusticeForDerick started a Go Fund Me Account to assist his family in funeral arrangements and a reward for his killer’s capture. Currently, Crime stoppers is offering $2,500 for any information regarding Derick’s murder. Currently the police have no suspects but do believe it was someone Derick knew.

Derick’s Funeral will be held tomorrow at 1:30 pm at James E. Cole Funeral Home. Family Hour Begins at 1:00 pm. There is visitation today also at James E. Cole from 9 am to 9 pm. You can light a memorial candle or write a memory of Derick on James E. Coles’s website.
