Detroit woman shoots at 3 intruders; 1 in custody, 2 on run
A woman on Detroit’s east side shot at three males who were breaking into her home Tuesday afternoon, striking one of them.
Detroit police say one person — the person who was shot — is in custody while they are actively searching for the other two.

Detroit resale shop owner shot to death
A gunman opened fire on a resale shop owner Tuesday night, killing him inside the business on 7 Mile Road near Marx Street on Detroit’s east side.
Two men walked into the Livin’ Barn Flea Market about 7:10 p.m. and asked about making a purchase. That’s one of them took out a gun and shot the owner in his chest.
The 45-year-old owner had just taken over the business after his grandmother died, Local 4 has learned.

Report: Lions Trade For Ravens Defensive Lineman Haloti Ngata
After being quite during the three-day free-agent negotiating period it appears the Detroit Lions may have made up for the loss of Ndamukong Suh by acquiring defensive tackle Haloti Ngata from the Baltimore Ravens.
According to Tim Twentyman of the DetroitLions.com, the Lions have actually traded for Ngata, with the deal pending on him passing his physical.
