Stick a fork in Hollywood Exes, because it is done. The reality show featured and executive-produced by Nicole Murphy who starred alongside Sheree Fletcher (Will Smith’s ex-wife), Mayte Garcia (Prince’s first wife), Andrea Kelly (R. Kelly’s ex-wife) Jessica Canseco (former wife of retired MLB player Jose Canseco), Shamicka Lawrence (funnyman Martin Lawrence’s second wife) and Shanna Moakler (ex-wife of rock drummer Travis Barker) has been cancelled. Sheree spilled the beans to HipHollywood, where she was attending the red carpet premiere of her first ex-husband’s movie Focus, where she revealed a fourth season of the series wasn’t in the cards. Sheree told the site, the ladies got the news about the show’s demise late last December and admitted she and her cast members were stunned about the cancellation. Just why was it not brought back for a fourth season?
They don’t have to give you a reason. They just say, ‘You ain’t coming back’ and that’s it. It’s a wrap. We were shocked because our ratings were good and people loved the show, so you know, go figure.
While VH1 has yet to comment on Sheree’s statement, the writing pretty much is on the wall for the show and spin-off Atlanta Exes. Sharp fans online have stated when visitors head to VH1’s press site, both shows are not listed on their lineups. So what’s next for Sheree? According to the former Mrs. Smith:
I have some other things in the works so I might be back on TV.
Here’s hoping Sheree has success in whatever it is she’s doing. Watch her interview below.
