People can say whatever they want about K. Michelle…but at the end of the day you have to respect her honesty.
On a recent promo stop in Detroit for her new album “Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?”, I got a chance to sit down and speak to the outspoken singer. I’ve interviewed her before but this was the first time in person and sheesh time flies when you’re having good conversation. In our just over 20 minute talk we covered just about everything. Nothing was off limits and after K. had a couple sips of her Hennessy…well let’s just say things got a little deep in the studio.
K. spoke about her growth as a person that we’ve seen documented through her reality shows and she also added that her growth has caused her to hate singing songs that remind her of her past pain. We talked about how she feels being compared to Mary J. Blige and Keyshia Cole and how fans seem to not appreciate when artist start making “happier music”.
She revealed that she is now venturing into country music and plans on making a country album.
It’s no secret K. Michelle is known for her large ASSests and she’s never shy to talk about all her plastic surgery procedures and she even said she now has “free liposuction for life”!
Then came the man talk and she revealed that she is over dating basketball players and that she is no longer dating overseas basketball player Bobby Maze, who we saw courting her on her reality show.
The real shocker came when she admitted that she wanted her ex boo thang actor Idris Elba back! She admitted that she wrote her the entire “Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart” album about him but she made it clear even though she was having a moment, she hasn’t been feeling Idris since he just had a baby with his current girlfriend. Plus she isn’t even sure if the baby mama knows about their relationship…well up until this point.
K. also talked about what inspired her song titled “Drake Would Love Me” and Drake’s reaction to it.
I told you it got deep in the studio! Check out the entire interview below and make sure you buy “Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart” in stores now!
