A Detroit Midtown neighborhood is set to be renovated. Four buildings in the Cass and Martin Luther King Boulevard area will be reconstructed.

The make-over will cost approximately $17 million to develop. The project will become a 47 unit housing complex.

Thursday a ground breaking ceremony is scheduled to celebrate the new development close to the Wayne State University district.

The Big Make-Over Plan will bring 200 jobs to Detroit. According to sources, the historic structures will be rebuilt from the inside out.
