DTE Energy is reporting 100,000 customers are without power Monday due to strong winds and a storm which hit over the weekend.

Most of the outages are scattered in northern Oakland County, Macomb County and Wayne County. DTE expects to have much of the power restored by Monday night.

Here is the outage breakdown as of noon Monday:

• Oakland County: 48,000

• Wayne County 19,000

• Macomb County 11,000

On Sunday morning there were as many as 60,000 customers around Metro Detroit without power because of the storm. That number dropped, but then rose again Monday morning due to high winds.

It came through quick, but a spring storm early Saturday evening left its mark on parts of Metro Detroit. Macomb, St. Clair, and northern Oakland counties were the worst hit.
