Starting next month low-income adults in Michigan will be eligible for health insurance under the state’s expanded Medicaid.
According to sources, Governor Rick Snyder announced the effort to the public after his administration tested the system’s effectiveness.
Starting April 1st, hundreds of thousands who are eligible will be able to apply for the benefits. Governor Snyder expects for the expansion to attract 320, 000 residents to register in the first year.
