Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West could make some quick cash as reports claim George Zimmerman is interested in going one-on-one against him for a celebrity boxing match.
According to reports, the notorious ex-Florida watch worker has shown an interest in fighting Ye.
George Zimmerman wants to beat up Kanye West … ironically because the rapper has a history of attacking “defenseless people.” Promoters for Zimmerman’s upcoming celeb boxing match tell us he badly wants to step in the ring with Yeezus. The promoters are deliciously Machiavellian — knowing for many it will become a choice between 2 evils … thus becoming a must-see spectacle. We’re told George’s beef with Kanye is not just that he attacks paparazzi … but the innocents as well — like the 18-year-old who allegedly called Kim an “N***** lover.” The promoters say if Kanye takes Zimmerman up on the offer … they’re willing to move the fight to L.A. (TMZ)
Former Def Jam rapper DMX recently revealed an interest in fighting Zimmerman.
The 43-year old rapper tells TMZ … he’s throwing his name out as a potential opponent for George’s upcoming celebrity boxing gig — just like The Game? — and says he wants to do it for “every black person who has been done wrong in the system.” DMX adds, “I am going to beat the living f**k out him … I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up.” DMX says, “Once I am done with him, I am going to whip my d**k out and piss on him … right in his muthaf**kin face.” He adds, “Zimmerman is a piece of s**t and that’s what he needs to drink.” (TMZ)
According to celebrity promoter Damon Feldman, Zimmerman is preparing for the fight of his life.
But according to Damon Feldman, the promoter of the event who has 55 celebrity boxing matches under his belt via his Celebrity Boxing Federation (CBF), George Zimmerman believes Game is the best opponent. “He [George Zimmerman] is open to any challengers that make sense, but he is training hard and he said ‘Game is the perfect opponent,'” Damon Feldman told AllHipHop.com in an exclusive interview. Damon recently said he had rejected Game’s initial offer but revealed Zimmerman was up for facing-off against X.
The Game just came on TMZ Live and formally accepted the challenge to fight George Zimmerman in the ring … but the promoter hedged, saying although Game is a front-runner, there are more than 4,700 others who want a piece of Zimmerman. The Game scoffed at promoter Damon Feldman, who said Zimmerman would be a tough opponent because he’s been heavy into boxing training. Game — who’s 6’5″ and 240 lbs — predicts a quick knockout. Damon says Zimmerman has agreed to fight DMX … and he says he’ll make a decision in a few days for the March 1 fight. (TMZ)
