This job requires a bachelor’s degree.
Ensure the day-to-day human resources related tasks are performed to allow the smooth and efficient operation of this Department information to the corporate office.
•Bachelors or Associates degree in human resources or management related field. Some experience in human resources perferred.
•Must be able to hold information in the strictest of confidence.
•Efficient time management skills.
•Ability to follow oral and written directives.
•Good command of the English and Spanish language peferred not required (both written and oral).
•Excellent communication and organizational skills.
•Proficient with computers. Extensive knowledge to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
•Assist members of the Human Resources Department on projects as assigned.
•Monitor and track pre-employment or scheduled screenings:
•Criminal History Checks (CH)
•Central Registry Clearance, if applicable
•Physical Exam, if applicable
•Conduct New Hire Orientation(s) for new employees.
•Update HR grid for accuracy.
•Monitor employee data input into web-based database system for accuracy.
•Process the staff vacancy report for terminations.
•Prepare personnel files for new employees.
•Prepare a discontinued file for employees upon their leaving employment.
•Prepare Payroll Change Notices (PCNs) for new employees to be issued to administration.
•New Hire/Change Employment Acknowledgement Forms for contract year.
•Process Payroll Change Notices (PCNs) and Record Change Notices (RCNs) in database and in personnel file. Ensure originals are forwarded to the Human Resources Department for processing.
•Monitor and maintain staff Professional Development Plans.
•Prepare monthly and annual report on employee statistical data.
•Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
