Come help THE DETROIT 300 PATROL the Detroit Riverwalk on Monday during the 2011 Detroit International Freedom Festival Fireworks Display. The Detroit Police Department has asked The Detroit 300 to be their eyes and ears – walking from the General Motors Fountain area through the Atwater Flats (Atwater/Rivard to Chene) starting at 4 p.m. to midnight.


“The Detroit Police Department would like to thank you (The Detroit 300) for your efforts in assisting to make the, a successful one,” said Lt. Renee’ Hall, Detroit Commanding Officer of Tactical Operations. “The commitment you (The Detroit 300) has shown to the city of Detroit and the Detroit Police Department is remarkable and a direct reflection of what can be accomplished when citizens and police work together.”
