Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie appeared in court today, where he pled guilty to three counts of conspiring to bring drugs into a penal institution. During the trial investigators claimed that Boosie tried to smuggle drugs into Dixon correctional facility once and into Angola State Penitentiary twice.

Boosie was sentenced to eight years for the charges and was credited with time already served. After the sentence he also requested drug rehab, but the judge said he would recommend rehab, not order it.
