Former Crime Mob member Diamond has stirred some controversy by reportedly following in the same footsteps as Gucci Mane and Yung LA by inking up a face tattoo.

Diamond’s new tattoo is located near her ear and shows a bullet.

Gucci Mane may have just been released from an institution when he got his ice cream cone tattoo but what excuse do Yung L.A and Diamond have? Is there a lesson there? That face tattoos are maybe not a great idea and that you’ll only live to regret getting them done and have to put things over the top of them to avoid looking stupid in the long-term? Apparently not, as another Atlanta rapper; Diamond has had a bullet tattooed on the side of her face. Why? (RWD Mag)

Despite revealing her tattoo via Twitter, Diamond later hinted at the ink being a publicity stunt.

“IN LIFE: You only get ONE SHOT!!!!!! Remember dat !,” she tweeted Tuesday (March 8) revealing the tattoo.

“Now blog dat on ya MF website!!! Lol WORD2THEWISE: Don’t let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.”

“Okay let’s have a lil fun now… If you think diamonds tattou is REAL press 1 ! If u think its FAKE press 2 ! #legooooooo”

“I love controversy! … I’m glad my lil joke worked! Lol my timeline is buzzin hahaha, wuts for breakfast?” (Diamond’s Twitter)

A few days ago, Yung LA covered up his pink duck face tattoo.

Yung LA has covered up the tattoo of a duck on his face to the LA symbol. Atlanta rapper, Yung LA, received quite a bit of media attention for the permanent ink on his face that appeared to be a microphone-wielding bright colored duck. There has been slight confusion since LA marked his cheek because the tattoo mirrors the logo of another camp while he was already tied to Grand Hustle. Rumors have surfaced that after an altercation with DTE, the rapper was asked to remove the symbol from his face since he is not a member of the group. (Hip Hop Wired)

Around mid-January, Gucci Mane’s highly publicized ice cream face tattoo landed online.

SO ICEY! Gucci Mane hopped up out of rehab/mental facility a couple days ago. And he may need to demand a refund. Dude visited Tenth Street Tattoo in Atlanta today. And got this brand new little nugget of classiness–a big *ss ice cream cone complete with color, 3 scoops and the word “Brrr”–covering his whole right facial cheek. Wow. Tattoo artist and owner of the shop, Shane Willoughby, is the artist behind Gucci’s newest tattoo addition. And the master piercer in the shop–Jason Murray–tweeted the pics. (The YBF)
