Gardner-White Furniture stores will host a job fair Thursday and Friday as the company expands to a new Auburn Hills location.

The company is looking to hire 150 to 200 new employees for new positions. The job fair will be from noon till 7 p.m. at the new store, located at 4445 North Atlantic, located off Brown Road, east of Joslyn Road behind Sam’s Club and Home Depot.

The company is hiring for all positions, including sales, drivers, driver’s helpers, warehouse, office support and customer service.

Gardner-White says its average sales employee income is $52,000 and top producers earn more than $105,000 per year.

Grammy-winning rapper T.I. has finally come to terms with a release date for his upcoming Trouble Man LP, promising to drop it in late summer.

While fans anticipate the project’s September release, Tip said he will focus on heating up the summer with new music.

Trouble is brewing for T.I. The Grand Hustle chief has announced a release date for his eighth album Trouble Man. During his visit to Angie Martinez’ radio show on Tuesday, Tip revealed that the follow-up to 2010′s No Mercy will drop on September 4. “Look forward to those summertime anthems that we’ve grown to love about T.I.,” he previously told Fuse of the project, which has spawned the singles “Love This Life” and “Like That.” (Rap-Up)

Recently, producer Sham “Sak Pase” Joseph hit up SOHH to discuss Tip’s new LP.

“I think what we want to do is transcend and introduce a musically mature T.I.,” Sak Pase told SOHH. “I think he’s accomplished a lot with the T.I. we already know him for. Obviously his new album will have the classic T.I. records where it may be a great female record but musically, I think it may not be time to try something different but kind of mature the music a little bit more plus add a bit more sophistication to who he already is. People don’t really regard Southern artists as lyricists or true emcees or sophisticated. So I think he has an opportunity to do that now. He’s done Trap Muzik which was very successful and I think now it’s an opportunity to try something different. I want to be able to say that Tip is venturing out into different types of music and elements that could spark a different kind of light.” (SOHH)

Last fall, the “King of the South” held forth about his forthcoming Grand Hustle solo release.

As Marvin smoothly croons of personal struggles, T.I. smiles and nods his head yes. … “I have this one record [titled] ‘Pyro’ that I’m proud of,” T.I. told Billboard.com’s The Juice. “‘Pyro’ is a straight party record. It’s nostalgic of those crazy nights, early mornings [but] just turned up.” “Pyro” will come after the release of T.I.’s two singles, “I’m Flexin’,” featuring Big K.R.I.T. and “Hear Ye’ Hear Ye’,” feat. In October, he considered two possible album titles.

“The first of two album titles I’m debating is Kill the King because in all that I’ve gone through I’ve observed how people respond to my circumstances, and I always wonder ‘Why y’all coming at me like this?’ But I thought, ‘How do you expect them to act?’” he explains. “Life is a game of chess and the object is to kill the king. If you anoint yourself king, you have made yourself a target. Lincoln High School won the Get Schooled Detroit Challenge by improving its attendance by nearly 9 percent.  The challenge was put on by General Motors, United Way, and Viacom.

Since Lincoln High School was the winner, Big Sean became their principal for the day.

“This is about as connected as you could ever get with the students. Someone they respect and he gave a great message here,” said Mark Reuss, president of General Motors North America.

An assembly took place at the school around noon. It was emceed by MTV host V.J. Sway.

Rapper Royce Da 5’9 from Eminem’s record label, Shady Records, stopped by to talk to students.  He also performed his verse on the Bruno Mars’ hit song Sky Full of Lighters.

“One of my New Year’s resolutions was to be more involved.  Especially with education,” said Big Sean.  “So this was the perfect way to get involved with the school and it’s tight to see the kids so excited.”

Rapper Akinyele, known for the raunchy 90′s hit “Put It In Your Mouth,” has apparently struck gold in Las Vegas as the owner of a new gentlemen’s club in the heart of the city.

The New York rapper has moved $5 million in one week after the grand opening of Lollypops with partners Cliff Dutton and Jay, according to a press release.

“We decided to officially launch LollyPops and align ourselves during the Mayweather vs. Cotto fight weekend and I can proudly say there are now two winners,” said Akinyele.
Ak has long been known in the adult entertainment world for his penchant for potty-mouthed lyrics. In 1993, his debut album was titled Vagina Diner. The album was a mild success, but the controversy with the titled yielded more success for the rapper. His second album, 1996′s Put It in Your Mouth, made the rapper a success in the underground world of adult entertainment with the themes of sex and pornography. He went on to release several other sex-themed albums, songs and even worked closely with former porn star Heather Hunter.

Now, Akinyele continues to meld Hip-Hop with adult entertainment in Lollypops.

“We’ve been thrilled and amazed to see lines of both men and women still coming at 8 a.m. and this has been every single night, better yet morning I should say, over the past 10 days,” said Akinyele.

He has also employed a number of Hip-Hop acts and strippers to bolster the ambiance in the club.

DJ Whoo Kid is the resident DJ with others like Don Cannon, DJ RockStarr, Mark Da Spot and others. Even more have come to visit the club, including Ray J, Bad Girls Club’s Camilla Poindexter, Interscope Records’ LoveRance, Gary Payton, Bobby Brackins, Mistah Fab, Marshawn Lynch, Sleepy Brown, Problem, G-Unit/ZooLife’s 40 Glocc.

Ending, Ak said he named the club Lollypops, because it was “the only way we can metaphorically say ‘put it in your mouth’ without offending anyone.”

The family of late rap mogul Tupac Shakur has come forward to clear the air on recent homophobic accusations made by former Death Row Records owner Suge Knight, claiming he was not anti-gay.

According to Pac’s family members, he was far from homophobic.

Tupac Shakur’s family members believe Suge Knight is dead wrong — the rapper couldn’t have been a homophobe … because he was GREAT friends with Gianni Versace. Suge has been on a media blitz recently … telling multiple radio stations 2pac ended his professional relationship with a famous hip hop star because Suge believed the rapper was a gay man. But sources close to the Tupac estate tell TMZ … the Shakur family feels very strongly that Suge’s claims are “totally false” … and point to his friendship with the famous designer Gianni Versace, who was an openly gay man. In fact, Tupac reportedly participated in a Versace fashion show in Italy back in 1996 … and even rocked a Versace suit on the catwalk. (TMZ)

Recently, Knight blasted ex-affiliate Dr. Dre and accused him of being gay.

“Ninety-five percent of them is closet cases,” Knight told radio host Howard Stern when asked about homosexual rappers. “I wouldn’t say ninety-five percent because I don’t know all of them, I know the ones that was on my label [Death Row] was like that — recently, [Dr.] Dre went to my P.O. and tried to get me violated, he snitched on me. I haven’t even seen the guy since I’ve been home. I’m on parole — anyway, he went to my P.O. … He basically put a restraining order on me. Only people I know put a restraining order on somebody, unless it’s a battered woman, wife, baby mama, I don’t know a so-called gangster rapper going to put a restraining order against another man. I’m saying he’s gay because there’s a guy named Bruce and they’ve been together for years.” (“The Howard Stern Show”)

Suge then went on to bring up an alleged meeting where Pac went off on Dre’s sexuality.

“We had meetings in the red room and once we had these meetings, you had to put everything on the table. Everybody had some drinks and wasn’t nobody lying. Anybody got caught lying, it was always a consequence. So Tupac stood up and said, ‘I’m tired of this, I’m tired of this. Dre, you’s a f*ggot.’ Dre said, ‘First of all, I’m not a f*ggot.’ He said, ‘OK, then you’re a homosexual.’ He said, ‘I’m not a homosexual.’ …. Dre, you’s a f*ggot.” (“The Howard Stern Show”)

Last month, the former Death Row Recods music executive considered the possibility of Pac not dying in September 1996.

“Maybe the question is … Pac’s not really dead … Pac’s somewhere else,” Knight said in an interview. “Nobody seen Tupac dead. … The person who supposedly cremated Tupac … this guy got about 3 million dollars .. personally from me … cash … and next thing I know I never heard from the guy or seen him again … he retired and left.” (KDAY)

Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame may be hip to the Internet Age, however, he admits there is no way you can convince him to click on any popular gossip or rumor blogs.

Flocka said he has come to realize gossip blogs and reality television only excel through painting artists in a negative light.

“I don’t be reading no blogs, Mediatakeout.com, none of that. I saw some lame sh*t on there and I ain’t never went back. But I can’t lie some of that sh*t be convincing–the way they put it together. I even hate reality TV. To me reality TV is like embarrassing,” Flocka said in an interview. “They only sell shit that make you look stupid. They tried to give me and Gucci [Mane] a reality show. I just couldn’t do it. Get the f*ck out of here.”[Laughs] I just be making my records. And really, I don’t really do a lot of guest verses for people like that. I turn down mad sh*t. In 2011, reports emerged claiming Waka and Gucci Mane would have their own reality television series.

The yet to be titled program will give viewers an intimate look at the behind-the-scene lives of two of rap’s biggest names. “We show everyday life. What we get into in studio and at our shows. We just ordinary people with a crazy Rock ‘N’ Roll lifestyle,” Gucci told RumorFix exclusively. “Because of the music we make, people think that’s what we do all the time — but we got a real family life. We got heart. We do a lot of things for the community and we love each other,” the Atlanta rapper continued. (RumorFix)

Last May, Grammy-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco dished out his issues with the Internet as a whole.

“Sometimes I wish I never found the internet. Sometimes I regret getting a laptop and Wi-Fi for logging into the internet because it is such a distraction. If you have any addictive personality, the internet will magnify it. You have to be careful on the internet.
