Saturday afternoon, a  flash mob took over Times Square in New York City to honor the memory of “Soul Train” creator Don Cornelius.  Playing 70′s classics like The Jackson Five’s “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough”, some fans really got into the spirit by donning Afro wigs and roller skates and grooved down the now classic “soul train” line.

Antoine Dodson, who became an overnight sensation from the now infamous YouTube clip, is using his fame to launch his musical career.  Dodson teams up with artist Brent Morgan for a track titled “Lovesick Lullaby.”  Even though Dodson’s vocals seem to be assisted by Autotune, the song seems pretty decent.

Looks like Whitney Houston is reverting back to her cougar ways.  Last night the actress/singer was caught on camera by TMZ having dinner with former boy toy Ray J at Le Petit Four restaurant in West Hollywood.  After their meal, Ray J gallantly opened the passenger side door open for Whitney before driving away.

In a sit-down interview with The Grio’s Chris Witherspoon, actor Denzel Washington shared his views on the invisible ceiling black actors and directors hit when it comes to funding black films.
