    Detroit Restaurant Week returns for the 2014 spring edition on Friday, April 11 through Sunday, April 20. Eighteen of Detroit’s finest restaurants, including an exciting new addition, The Grille Midtown, legendary jazz spot Cliff Bell’s and the historic Whitney will offer specially-priced three-course dinners for only $30 per person.

    The Grille Midtown offers contemporary American cuisine and is located in the heart of Midtown Detroit, inside the newly redeveloped Garden Theatre building on Woodward Avenue. The Peppadew Peppers, Filet Mignon and Bread Pudding are just a few of the featured menu items prepared by Chef Kevin Browe.

    “This event was created to promote downtown Detroit’s many fine dining establishments,” says Jason Huvaere, president of Paxahau, producers of Detroit Restaurant Week. “We are grateful to our sponsors for making this happen and look forward to working with our restaurant partners on the new program we have in store for 2014,” he adds.

    The program for 2014 includes, adding mid-level fine dining restaurants to the participating roster, possible summer events, fall kick-off event and working closely with charity partner, Forgotten Harvest on setting new goals for the year.
