From the editor:

I am glad to see he was able to push past the controversy of the last few weeks and focus on his music and giving back to the city of Detroit. Leave the B.S. in 2013 and keep it up Vez! The sh!t will cripple you if you allow it to. The choice is YOURS.

Wishing you nothing but the best,

AC

About Icewear Vezzo:

Straight from the hard-core streets of Detroit, MI’s Eastside Chivez “Icewear Vezzo” Smith always knew he had a unique talent that could pave the way for Detroit Street Rap. Born October 31, 1989 with 19 brothers and sisters, Vezzo didn’t have it as easy as most kids would. He knew he had to make a way and he did just that.

At the age of 15 Vezzo joined forces with Green Guyz, which originated in Minnesota where a handful of his siblings grew up, forming his own entity of the group in Detroit. As one, they made hit records like “I Can’t tell” and “Boss Up B—h”.

It wasn’t long before Vezzo saw an opportunity to break out into his solo career. August 2012 Icewear Vezzo took control of his solo career and released a now street classic “The Clarity”. With his catchy ab-lib “Whattttttt” and unique sound his fan base grew overnight. Icewear froze the city of Detroit with hit singles “Dancin” and “Got It All On Me”.

At what most would consider his “breakout” moment as an artist, Vezzo found himself facing the harsh realities of his environment, forcing him to do six months in jail. His time away however, did not go as time wasted. During his time in jail, Icewear Vezzo’s new single “Money Phone” grabbed the attention of rap fans throughout the Midwest.

Icewear Vezzo was released from jail in early June 2013. Undeniably more focused and hungry for success than ever!

He was welcomed home to a set on Hot 107.5’s Summer Jamz, headlining his own concert at the historic St Andrew’s hall and thousands of fans anticipating the release of “The Clarity 2”.

Today both “The Clarity 1 & 2” can be found for purchase on iTunes, Amazon and a host of other digital download sites.

Much more to come with this hot Indie artist as he breaks his way through more major markets creating his own lane and taking the music industry by storm.
