Welp looks like there has been a new city added to the Love & Hip Hop franchise! Houston get ready for the RATCHET!
According to TheYBF:
A few weeks ago we broke the news that Mona Scott-Young was expanding her “Love & Hip Hop” empire to three additional cities (Los Angeles, Houston, New Orleans) and now we have an idea about which characters might be popping up in the H-Town installment.
We guessed originally this would very likely involve Slim, Toya and some strippers. Did we call it…or did we call it?
First up, rapper Slim Thug (who performed on Beyonce’s #1 hit “Check On It” and the “I Been On” remix) is definitely a rumored cast member. With hits like “Still Tippin” under his belt, the Boss Hogg Outlawz owner is also known for famously dating ex-Destiny’s Child member LeToya Luckett (shown atop).
A source told TheYBF.com that LeToya Luckett has also signed up for the Houston installment and we will likely see the ex-couple sort through their unfinished business. You’ll recall that they parted ways a few years ago after Slim allegedly impregnated another woman.
And speaking of “paternity”, Slim (who also took his followers on his vasectomy journey) recently received news that he is NOT the father of an 11-year-old boy whose mother took him to court (and froze his bank accounts) for back-child support. For the past few days, he’s been celebrating the “good” news on his social media outlets.
Veteran rapper Willie D (a founding member of The Geto Boys) and a columnist for The Houston Press is also linked to the new show.
