    Lauryn Hill Pleads Guilty To Tax Evasion Charges

    Miss L Boogie herself dropped a new song today and sent a Tumblr message to her fans to let them know where the song was and how to get it! [You can purchase her new song on iTunes! ]

    Says Ms. Hill;

    “Hello All:

    Here is a link to a piece that I was ‘required’ to release immediately, by virtue of the impending legal deadline. I love being able to reach people directly, but in an ideal scenario, I would not have to rush the release of new music… but the message is still there. In light of Wednesday’s tragic loss (of former label mate Chris Kelly), I am even more pressed to YELL this to a multitude that may not understand the cost of allowing today’s unhealthy paradigms to remain unchecked!

    - MLH”

    Say whatever you will about the quality of the production, Lauryn got open on that mic and punished it like it tried to steal her new million dollar Sony contract from her! She spit real verbiage. We would appreciate if Sony or whomever is in charge of production could accommodate her with  a better quality mix, master and beat selection versus just throwing music out there that is rushed, as she said. But that flow was ridiculous in our book! If this is what Lauryn wants to give us, then we’re willing to take it! We all know that L is best when she’s been through something, and judging by the way those flames were flying off her rhymes on this song, there might be some very dope music delivered from her in the very near future.  Get Em L Boogie!
